SAS - Slackware Asian Support

I am trying to get the packages together that will provide Asian Slackers with
proper CJK font support and input methods.
I am getting help from some Chinese friends here. I will start with building
packages for SCIM and several IM-engines. Next, I will see to it that freetype
and possible x11 get the patches needed for better CJK font rendering.
Also, any good (free!) TTF font would be more than welcome.

I hope that a Wiki page with a good story and decent instructions
will follow sometime.

In the SAS package tree, I will tag all my packages with "sas",
so that you can easily identify these packages once installed
(example package name:  scim-1.4.5-i486-1sas)
